Your water supply is not filling it up properly, did you lot read the service manual to observe out why?
I have very little knowledge of stand lonely ice makers. Expect for a water fill sensor and encounter if its bad.

I have no thought how these machines work, when I worked at Wards and Sears they didn't train me on Stand Lone Water ice makers.
All I know is if your non getting enough h2o you will get thin ice or no ice, that's true for ALL ice makers period.
Hopefully another tech that does these Stand Lone Ice makers day in and solar day out can assist you. If non, then contact KitchenAid to come out and see what's going on.
